Gary and Robyn Kennedy met while attending law school in Lansing, Michigan. Gary focused on building the firm while Robyn was employed with the State of Michigan. They married in 2013 and in 2015, Robyn joined Gary as a partner at Kennedy Law Office.
Kennedy Law Office, PLLC opened its doors in 2011 providing an array of legal services. Since 2016, Gary & Robyn have focused primarily on criminal defense, criminal appeals, defending against allegations of child abuse and juvenile criminal matters. Choosing to specialize in a field means that you are completely devoted to it; that you will protect it as if it were your own. Gary & Robyn have an excellent working relationship that doesn't quit at the end of the work day. That is the energy that sets them apart from other small firms.

Immediately after passing the bar exam, Gary founded and began building Kennedy Law Office, PLLC. Gary began handling an array of legal matters; however, his heart was fully invested in criminal defense. After five years providing general practice legal services, Gary chose to explicitly provide legal services in the area of criminal defense. Gary is committed to ensuring his clients constitutional rights are not violated during crucial investigations an continues throughout his representation.

ROBYN M. KENNEDY
While attending law school Robyn was employed with the State of Michigan, investigating allegations of child abuse and neglect. Robyn continued employment with the State of Michigan after law school and was assigned as a special investigator of child sexual abuse. Robyn has an exceptional understanding of the Child Protection Law as well as Michigan Department of Health and Human Services policies and brings a unique perspective to defending allegations of child abuse/neglect. Robyn knows what it takes to protect your rights during the most vulnerable times for you and your family.
